After presentations in

4/10/11 -- After presentations in Chesterland, Ohio (two great elementary schools -- Westwood and Lindsey; two great hosts -- Denise Brewster and Darlene Zusy), and a fun weekend with my family in Charleston, South Carolina, I'm now in Berne, Indiana for the third week of this school visit trek. Driving into town this afternoon, I had the treat of seeing several horse-drawn Amish buggies clip-clopping along. It occurred to me, as I zoomed past at 60 mph, that in a culture that values speed in nearly everything we do, it is also very important to slow . . . the pace . . . down . . .
