Good to See you!

As a writer, words are my bread and butter, my bricks and mortar, the stuff from which I make stories. I've been thinking about the word "good" a lot lately. I'm not sure where it would sit on a list of "Most Frequently Used Words." I'm guessing it would be pretty highly ranked. But does frequency dull meaning, spread it thin like jam on a piece of toast? "That sure tastes good!" is so different from "She is a good person!" And what about the article that comes before the adjective? The difference between living "the" good life and "a" good life is so much larger than a few letters. Any thoughts you'd care to share on the word "good" would be . . . well, good.
