Just finished two Skype

6/1/11 -- Just finished two Skype sessions with 5th and 6th graders at Moore Intermediate School in Florence, SC. Technical difficulties reared their ugly head, but not for long. On the flip side, how cool is it to be able to discuss writing with an auditorium full of kids 3,000 miles away? Very cool! Below is a pic of what it looked like on the east coast big screen. Notice that although it's early morning in Oregon, I am -- amazingly -- fully awake.
