Let There be Light

Winter Solstice: the darkest day of the year, especially here in Oregon after a storm moved in. Solution, in my humble opinion, is twofold:

1) Literal: light candles

2) Symbolic: say hello, smile (behind the mask; it shows around the eyes), and wish everyone well, even the cynic who thinks your middle name is Pollyanna.

Then do it again tomorrow.

And the day after that.

And the day after that.

Next thing you know they'll be more light.

Cheers!
