PRFBS

I returned home yesterday from teaching at the winter residency of the Writing for Children and Young Adults MFA program at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Flights were all on time, so once in Corvallis I had a few minutes to go for a walk in the country. It was sunny and there was stuff like grass and dirt all around. Which kind of threw me at first. I hadn't seen the ground for eleven days. They cover it with snow in Vermont. Still, it was nice, and I felt remarkably clearheaded. This morning, though, I went for a trail run and felt kinda foggy. I thought it must be Post-Residency Fog-Brain Syndrome (PRFBS) setting in. Until I actually woke up and looked around.IMG_2757I'm fine. Really.
